OZ Roma Art Agency

This agency provides generally beneficial services in the field of development, creation, preservation and promotion of cultural values. The agency organizes weekend stays, camps, and meetings for youth and their families. It also organizes cultural, social and sports events with the aim of presenting and promoting children’s and youth ensembles from performing music, dance, sports and other artistic activities. It is also an organizer of trainings, courses and lectures.

It provides information via the Internet and carries out publishing activities aimed at talented youth talents. It focuses on creating meaningful fulfilling of leisure time for children, youth and families from disadvantaged groups of the population (e.g. children from children’s homes), cultural social and sports events. It processes and implements projects with the aim of obtaining financial resources from various funds. The agency provides education and advice with a focus on working with talented youth to preserve the uniqueness of the Roma ethnic group.

The aim of the organization is to support the Roma identity of the Roma, to contribute to the education and personal development of young people, to promote tolerance, friendship and respect between ethnically different population groups and between social classes. Furthermore, its intention is to build a healthy self-confidence of the youth and thus to actively include them in the action of society, helping young families and young people to cope with educational and educational difficulties, developing the life skills of children and youth from a disadvantaged social environment, as well as creating a positive relationship between children and youth with culture and sports and, last but not least, to provide positive role models and healthy relations between the majority and the minority.

The non-profit Madhouse GmbH

This organization was founded in September 1987 in Munich originally as a medical educational and therapeutic and family facility. Other care measures, assisted living and finally outpatient educational assistance were gradually developed. In 2002, a part of this organization – AEH – was created. For Sinti and Roma in the entire Munich area, a special focus “Supra-regional educational assistance” has been created. In 2010, this supra-regional offer was supplemented by family, couple and parent counseling for Sinti and Roma. AEH specialists care for, accompany and support children, young people and families from the Sinti and Roma minority. The organization addresses the individual needs of Sinti and Roma ethnical groups, provides access to mainstream services and focuses on social and societal integration.

The focus of the work of this organization is: respect for the cultural background and the reality of the life of Roma and Sinti. It takes a hands-on approach to work and its team works to strengthen and support the community and culture. In the region, AEH is a mediator between the majority society and the Roma and Sinti minorities. It initiates the creation and organization of cultural and educational events in Munich and beyond with the aim of raising awareness of this issue. It also provides professional advice in education, social inclusion issues. It is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Roma and Sinti culture in a wider context.

Union of Olašské Roma in the Czech Republic, z.s.

The non-profit organization was founded on January 1, 2014. Its main mission is:

  1. organization of cultural and social life and cultural events of the Roma in the Czech Republic and within the EU for the Olašské Roma,
  2. provision of consultancy services in the field of education,
  3. support for the competitiveness, entrepreneurship and employment of Roma,
  4. wider integration of Roma into society.

The representative of this partner is Mr. Josef Stojka, a member of the Government Council for Roma Minority Affairs in the Czech Republic, who has the widest network of direct contacts with Olaš representatives at the national, European and supra-European level. The main cultural event of this partner is the organization of the International MISS GYPSY Ostrava.

Association of Roma Music Artists in the Czech Republic z.s.

The purpose of the association is to strengthen the capacities and professionalization of Roma musical artists in the Czech Republic. To it, the association sets itself influence legislative and state institutions to create appropriate conditions for the creation and development of business in the music industry, increasing the professional musical level of its members. It also participates in the organization of the exchange of opinions of its members, partners and sympathizers on common issues and on current issues of their professional education, business, presentation, promotion and PR, financing, human resources, grant management and research and other areas that will lead to strengthen the capacities and professionalization of Roma musical artists in the Czech Republic.

An important intention is also to prevent unfair competition, xenophobia and suppress, while respecting market rules, low-quality and unprofessional activities and business activities in the music field and to create a basis for collective membership in national and international non-governmental organizations of a similar nature.
